Yellowstone TroutScout and Mission Creek Ranch have teamed up to provide complete fishing and lodging packages. This allows the customer to take care of their outdoor recreation and lodging needs with one phone call. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best service possible, as well as provide memories that won’t soon be forgotten.
Yellowstone TroutScout Outfitters and Mission Creek Ranch both located in Livingston, Montana with the Yellowstone River right in our backyard. The fishing opportunities are endless with over 100 miles of the Yellowstone River and its tributaries. Three world famous Spring Creeks; DePuy’s, Armstrong’s and Nelson’s, as well as the Madison and Boulder Rivers and Yellowstone National Park all within a one hour drive.

Mission Creek Ranch, is one of the most historical ranches in Montana. This ranch was home to the original Crow Indian Reservation known as Fort Peck between 1865 – 1875. This beautiful ranch is tucked into a secluded bend along the Mission Creek and Yellowstone River among aspen and cottonwood and with the majestic Absaroka Mountain range as our backdrop. From this idyllic haven, you seem to develop a fresh perspective on life. Is it the air? Montana’s famed Big Sky? Or simply a lifestyle as old as the West itself. As it has been since 1876, the Mission Ranch is a working cattle ranch, raising quality, black angus cattle. Staying at the ranch offers you an opportunity to participate in numerous ranch activities or just enjoy the simplicity of ranch life.
The rare privacy of the fishing experience on the ranch has drawn fly fisherman from all over the country. The ranch offers a total of four miles of fine, blue ribbon, fly fishing whether on the Yellowstone River, on Mission Creek or our own Mission Spring Creek.

Not Included with Package Price:
Transportation from Airport, fishing license, additional private access fees and gratuity not included. Our packages also do not offer dinners. We don’t want our clients outdoor activities cut short by the dinner bell. We encourage our clients to explore the many wonderful restaurants, art galleries and shops that Livingston has to offer. By not including dinner in our packages we are able to keep our costs up to $1,000.00 less per person than the other local lodges.
